MICA UP-Start 2024

For MICA's Up-Start program, creative entrepreneurs compete for money to fund their creative business. I designed the promotional image that was posted on MICA's Instagram. I maintained consistency in the design for all finalists. I had to figure out a creative design that would be eye-catching for social media while having a universal design where I can interchange information for the different finalists.

MICA Edible Book Festival-2024

I created the 2024 Edible Book Festival poster, which was then used to promote the festival on MICA's library Instagram. This being a student-run event, I was able to incorporate my style of illustration into the poster. This was a fun, creative project where I was able to showcase my illustration style while providing information for the festival.

MICA Instagram-2023/24

I create simple images that would be used for MICA's Instagram and the University App, where I needed to keep the graphics simple and branded while being able to provide important information for the students to understand.

I had the opportunity to work with my team at Strategic Communications to make the annual MICA holiday video for 2024. I tell my story as a transfer student through a little blue cat who makes a frightening big leap! I worked alongside the Maryland Institute College of Art and Human Being Productions to capture the final production of the progression of my digital illustration process. This project was about the in-between stages of creating an art piece, all the mistakes, and the lessons of this learning journey. This was sent as a digital holiday card to MICA alumni, students, donors, and the board of trustees.
